Music isn't just something I love, it is a family tradition passed down generation to generation. My people all sang and played instruments, its in my blood. My Grammaw played frailin style banjo and sang the old ballads, and my Grampaw played the fiddle. When I was young my brother, Lew, showed me how to play the guitar. It is a gift I will always carry with me and cherish for the rest of my days. Lew may have passed on, but his music lives on through me. Music is a special part of my life. It defines who I am. I'm thankful to share it with such talented musicians. Its an honor and a privilege to share my Appalachian heritage through my music. Music is more than a song, its a story about who we are.
