I can't remember a time when I wasn't singing. My mother got me started when I was just old enough to talk. Therefore, I have never considered myself as a musician but rather a singer that plays music. My earliest influences were Southern Gospel Quartets, Country, and soul music. My father got me started in Bluegrass later in life and I began to learn how  to play the Dobro. I switched to Banjo a few years later. I love to watch the great players perform and I try to learn from everyone of them that I see. Most recently I have built a recording studio and I am now involved in the recording side of the music.
